ERJA LYYTINEN & FRIENDS: BLUE CHRISTMAS 2025

🌟ERJA LYYTINEN – HANNA PAKARINEN – KÄRTSY HATAKKA🌟

Guitar virtuoso Erja Lyytinen has been delighting concert audiences with her Blue Christmas tour since 2017! Lyytinen is one of the leading blues-rock guitarists operating in the international circuit, and has been awarded several times in different categories over the years. In 2022, Lyytinen made history by being nominated as the first Finnish artist in Canada's Maple Blues Awards. In November 2024, Lyytinen was awarded the Angel of Rock award by the British HRH festival. The award is given for a significant contribution to rock, metal or blues music. During her career, Lyytinen has performed alongside some of the world's top guitarists, such as Carlos Santana, Sonny Landreth, Jennifer Batten and Joe Bonamassa. Lyytinen's latest album "Smell the Roses" was released in spring 2025. The album has received rave reviews in international publications and ranked sixth on the UK IBBA radio chart for April 2025. Lyytinen was able to showcase her singing skills on the Masked Singer Finland program as a skeleton. This year, the Blue Christmas concert will feature a selection of Lyytinen's production, atmospheric blue tunes and rocking Christmas songs with great guest artists!

Hanna Pakarinen is known as the first and most legendary winner of Finnish Idols TV show. Her coronation was watched on TV by no less than 1.6 million viewers. Pakarinen appeared in front of an even larger audience of millions in 2007, when the artist with a magnificent voice represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest, rarely even on front her home audience at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. Hanna Pakarinen, who has broken the gold and platinum boundaries with her solo albums, has exuded a gigantic passion for music throughout her career. She is a trendsetter whose example has had a major impact on the path of many new wave stars. The appreciation that spans generations has only grown since Pakarinen ended her eight-year hiatus from publishing in the fall of 2021. Performing is the most important thing for Pakarinen as an artist, and she has described being on stage as one of the best places in the world. Pakarinen delighted Blue Christmas listeners at the Rovaniemi concert on the 2024 tour, illuminating the Christmas concert audience with her positive spirit.

Kärtsy Hatakka is best known as the singer and driving force behind the band Waltari, which has been active since the mid-1980s. Combining metal, art music, folk music and funk, Waltari has paved the way for the success of Finnish metal bands in Europe, and has performed at mega festivals such as Roskilde and Wacken. In recent years, Kärtsy has also become known to the general public as an impressive solo performer who leaps across genre boundaries with convincing ease. In his solo production, Kärtsy has moved from pop to rock, leaving his signature sound on all the cover songs he performs. In the spring of 2025, Kärtsy amazed the Finnish TV audience with his talent and authentic rock star personality in the Tähdet, Tähdet (Stars, Stars) competition. This year, Kärtsy will captivate the audience of the Blue Christmas concert with his unique stage charisma and personal voice!
